A woman reportedly was stabbed at mid-afternoon on Tuesday in front of a Stop & Shop store on Route 36 in Keyport, according to initial reports. The victim was taken to an area hospital by EMS, reports said. She had not been identified.
A crime scene area was set up in front of the store, an unconfirmed report said.
No other details were immediately available.
